Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Word Bones game and this website (together, the “Service”), published by Solvitur Studio, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Word Bones for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms. When you download the app from the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; where those terms conflict with these, the Apple terms control for the App Store version.

In-App Purchases

Word Bones is free to play and supported by ads. You may optionally buy “Remove Ads,” a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that permanently removes interstitial ads on your device and any devices sharing your Apple account’s Family Sharing. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store — we never receive or store your payment information. Refunds are handled solely by Apple under its policies; we cannot issue refunds directly. You can restore a prior purchase any time from the app’s Settings.

Advertising

Unless you have removed ads, the app shows occasional full-screen ads between games via Google AdMob. With your permission (via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency), ads may be personalized using your device’s advertising identifier; if you don’t grant permission, ads are non-personalized. Eligibility

The Service is rated for all ages and is not directed to children under 13, and we collect no personal information from anyone. If you are a minor, please use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law; not to use it for any unlawful purpose; and not to interfere with its normal operation or security.

Intellectual Property

The Word Bones name, artwork, sound, and game design are owned by Solvitur Studio, LLC. The game’s word list and other third-party components are used under their respective licenses, credited on our Licenses page.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solvitur Studio, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Solvitur Studio, LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
